The White House will hold an online live chat Tuesday, July 12, at 4:00 p.m. EDT to discuss its Campaign to Cut Waste initiative and how the federal government can better leverage and streamline the .gov ecosystem.
The chat will include White House Director of Digital Strategy Macon Phillips, U.S. Chief Information Officer Vivek Kundra and General Services Administration Director of the Center for Excellence in Digital Government Sheila Campbell.
Citizens can participate in the following ways:

By executive order, President Obama launched the initiative on June 13, 2011, to help “cut waste, streamline Government operations, and reinforce the performance and management reform gains my Administration has achieved” (Delivering an Efficient, Effective, and Accountable Government).
