USDA’s Flip Anderson describes government’s digital progress

Flip Anderson, acting associate chief information officer for information resources management at the Agriculture Department, joins FedScoop TV to talk about the federal government’s progress with digital initiatives.

When it comes to accepting the latest innovations, the government tends to be risk adverse, Anderson tells FedScoop’s Whitney Wyckoff. “The government has to do a better job of understanding what technology is out there and how we can leverage it,” he said.
