Microsoft’s Jason Payne emphasizes cybersecurity advancements in the government

Jason Payne, CTO for federal at Microsoft, talks about the biggest achievements in government in terms of IT modernization. He highlights its progress in cybersecurity, particularly in the adoption of zero trust. “I think the lessons learned in this have been a lot of collaboration and sharing. And the principles of applying zero trust the pillars, combined with modernizing applications, been able to move agencies forward most, which I think is the defense they need in the face of the cyber threats today,” he says.
