Edward Snowden, the former National Security Agency contractor responsible for leaking classified documents to journalists, took to Twitter today to answer questions from the public about NSA’s global surveillance programs.
In a series of somewhat long-winded responses to carefully picked questions moderated by The Courage Foundation — the same U.K.-based organization that manages a legal defense fund for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange — Snowden lectured the Twitterverse on everything from the benefits of strong encryption to the framework of the U.S. Constitution.
But many questions went unanswered during the hour-long Q&A, including a few choice selections from your humble correspondent. Here’s a look at some of the better, more colorful ones.
