Corey Stambaugh says new staff are still being trained using initial federal funds earmarked for hiring.

He oversaw the launch of the American AI Initiative, National Quantum Coordination Office and COVID-19 High Performance Computing Consortium.

The office will, as its name implies, coordinate quantum efforts between agencies across the government.
