TechTake: Women’s History Month edition

TechTake explores the bigger issues and trends in the federal IT community, and twice-monthly features a “Women in Technology” segment.

March has seen an impressive national turnout of people, ideas and results for Women’s History Month. At FedScoop, we’ve celebrated those women through our
D.C.’s Top 50 Women in Tech list, video interviews and profile pieces on impressive women working in government. The status of women working as entrepreneurs and in STEM fields in 2014 is still significantly unbalanced; only 26 percent of those working in STEM are women, and about one-third of entrepreneurs are women.
