A week ago today we were wondering who was going to be the next federal chief technology officer and, low and behold, just a few days later HHS CTO Todd Park got the nod. We can’t exactly say the news was surprising considering since the day Aneesh Chopra announced he was leaving everyone and their mother knew it would be or VA CTO Peter Levin. Both were wonderful choices and we assume Todd won an arm-wrestling match or a game of chess against Peter for the right to the job. Congratulations to Todd on the new position, and we’ll have much more on him later today …
