Yesterday marked the first birthday of Startup America, the White House initiative aimed at boosting entrepreneurship throughout the nation. President Obama is sending Congress a set of proposals to help out those that want to start businesses. To help ring in the birthday, the Startup America team, including chairman Steve Case, were in New York to ring the opening bell on Monday at the NYSE.
