Meeting data and cloud security requirements with a modern analytics platform
As federal agencies work towards modernizing their data infrastructure, they will need better tools to improve data analytics across their cloud environments.
A recent cloud security white paper, produced by MicroStrategy, takes a closer look at the data analytics capabilities agency leaders should look for in a platform tool to help them better manage the governance, security, maintenance and development of their AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
The white paper overviews how agencies can optimize their cloud architecture with both AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments, by integrating a platform-as-as-service offering in a single-tenet architecture, customizable for each unique deployment within a customer-licensed AWS or Azure environment.
“Once provisioned, users can develop, tailor and manage the underlying application and data components to meet their respective needs with full functionality parity of the features, capabilities and services available in the MicroStrategy platform,” says the paper.
According to the report, MicroStrategy implements and wholly manages a unique virtual private cloud instance for each MicroStrategy Cloud customer. This unique instance serves as a dedicated virtual network and computing environment for each individual account that is logically isolated from the deployments of all other MCE customers.
It has been designed to meet a variety of contract vehicles, compliance and baseline standards with a flexible approach to deployment, allowing MicroStrategy the agility to meet any changing requirements for federal data analytics.
