The scoop behind the new FedScoop.com

The new look breaks fresh ground in the world of Web design and makes content more accessible than ever.

Dear FedScoop Readers,

I am excited to debut our next generation website today, introducing a completely new look that breaks fresh ground in the world of Web design and makes more FedScoop content available to readers than ever before.

As the leading tech media company in Washington, D.C., FedScoop is constantly trying to push the envelope and drive innovation to provide the best content, events and experiences for each of you.

The new site is a reflection of our long-standing commitment to serve the community with breaking news, educational forums and platforms for collaboration.

FedScoop has grown dramatically over the past few years and has become an essential part of the daily discussion on government IT developments.

Last year, FedScoop produced 27 events, and our news and video sites delivered roughly 400,000 impressions a month. FedScoop’s DailyScoop, which is sent out each business day, reaches more than 100,000 federal IT decision-makers and influencers in the D.C. metro area alone as subscribers.

Our new site – and FedScoop’s newly redesigned newsletter, DailyScoop, also making its debut today – is part of a broader series of exciting expansion moves for us. (More to come on that soon!)

The creative verve that has driven FedScoop’s unique government IT community events is reflected in the new design of its flagship news property. The new look and feel of the site incorporates a number of state-of-the-art features, such as story cards that can reveal layers of information, giving readers a more vivid, interactive view of FedScoop’s daily news coverage.

The responsive design of FedScoop’s new website also adapts instantly to whatever device readers are using to get their latest news from FedScoop.

The redesign makes it easier to access information on FedScoop’s growing array of public sector events and read profiles on the top government and industry IT leaders who headline those events.

It also gives our readers more direct access to FedScoop’s rich collection of content, including FedScoop’s exclusive video series “FedMentors,” and makes it easier to find all of FedScoop’s government technology stories by topic or by government agency.

I hope that you enjoy our new site and that you take a moment to share your thoughts and feedback with me at ceo@fedscoop.com. I look forward to seeing you at the next FedScoop event!
