The White House blog released its contingency plan for the possible government shutdown, saying the 435 employees in the Executive Office of the President will not be immediately furloughed.
Of quick note: 128 employees at the Office of Management and Budget will stay on and more could be called in if necessary. Also, the Office of Science and Technology Policy will keep seven staff members of board to deal with classified information, disposition of records and computer support. Check out the plan here:
