The National Park Service released the following videos Thursday of workers surveying damage done to the Washington Monument during the August 2011 earthquake, including helmet cam shots of workers scaling the monument.
The videos coincide with the announcement that Carlyle Group Co-founder David Rubenstein donated $7.5 million to help fund the monument’s repair efforts.
